Hollywood Magazine began during a time when the motion picture
industry and films in general, provided great escape and classic
entertainment for a public that was constantly bombarded with
bad economic news on a daily basis.
This is a near complete series , starting with the first issue
printed in January of 1934, until mid 1943 when the mergers
between lots of publishing houses and titles began,
seeking any means to keep the business alive and profitable.
