when Dime Mystery debuted, Terrill had already made
a career editing pulps at T.T. Scott's Fiction House
where he managed titles such as Action Stories, Wings,
and Fight Stories. Terrill then became Editor-in-Chief
at Popular, with an editorial staff that included
S.V. Farrelly, Jr. and John Bender.
