Let's face it. There are two things that washed up athletes love more than anything else in this world. And those two things are golf and backyard games. Heres another fact: a recent study - which was done using science - found that washed up athletes make up 98% of the world's population.
So, Brendan and Matt (two supremely washed up athletes and the co-founders of Chippo Golf) decided to invent a game that combines the two things that 98% of the population love more than anything else in the world. That's how Chippo was born. You're welcome.
HOW TO PLAY...
Like all great and beautiful things, playing Chippo is pretty simple:
- Set up the boards as depicted in the image (cornhole style).
- Find three friends (or highly skilled pets) and start chipping!
Here's how scoring works for 1.) Match Play, 2.) Cornhole-style and 3.) "Six Ball" scoring:
- 1 point: Just hit the board on a fly. Boardie.
- 3 points: Drain your shot in the larger center hole. 3-Hole.
- 5 points: Send the ball to its home in either top corner hole. 5-Hole.
- 2x points: If you're a surgeon with a sixty degree wedge, bounce your shot off the chipping mat for double (2, 6 or 10) points. Bounce Shot.

Each Chippo board is constructed of reinforced plastic, covered in artificial turf and includes netting attached to all three holes to catch scoring shots. The steel leg folds under for easy storage and transport. There is a compartment built into the underside of each Chippo board which perfectly fits and stores the Chippo chipping mats. The balls included with Chippo are high-density foam practice balls, safe to play anywhere and designed/ manufactured by almostGolf to feel and play almost like a real ball. The rubber and turf chipping mats are sturdy and won't slip or move when you chip off of them. Once called "the best backyard game of all-time" by a very smart customer. We don't disagree.
