Eliminate Ammonia, the #1 Killer of Fish

Breeding of fish as a hobby is on the increase and commercial breeding and raising of fish as a source of protein has become a major business. When fish are reared in self contained water systems the problem of unacceptably high levels of ammonia usually arises. Studies have shown that even ammonia concentrations of a few parts per million can be extremely toxic to many varieties of fish and result in stunted growth, gill diseases, brain damage, sterility and ultimately death.

Ammonia can result from feces, natural life processes, overfeeding, decaying organic material, and breaking the chloramine bond in municipal water supplies. Ammonia can quickly build up to dangerous concentrations if left untreated. Even when water recycling systems are employed in fish farming to maintain water quality, problems with high ammonia levels can be encountered during transportation.

AmmoSorb™ Ammonia Removal Granules were specially developed to solve the problem of toxic ammonia levels in the aquaculture industry and aquariums . AmmoSorb™ will trap ammonium ions on contact and thereby reduce toxic ammonia concentrations. AmmoSorb™ is capable of removing up to 99% of ammonia from water and result in a safer and healthier environment for fish. Removal of ammonia results in improved growth and appetite as well as lower stress and disease.

To use, simply apply the recommended quantity following the filter manufacturers' directions for installation of filter media. For goldfish bowls, use 4 teaspoons AmmoSorb™ for each goldfish. It can also be directly applied to aquariums, ponds, and shipping containers.

Refunds, Returns & Exchanges

If you need to return items for any reason, please email us first at service@imtek.biz to receive your Return Goods Authorization (RGA) number and return instructions. Telephone requests will not be accepted. Please submit your invoice and reason for return in your email. Any product returned without prior approval will not be processed, refunded or exchanged since we will not have any way to track the return. We will not accept any responsibility for items returned without an approved and valid RGA number from IMTEK.

Refunds or exchanges must be made within 30 days from date of purchase. Customers are responsible for shipping/freight charges. All returned products must be in their original packaging, resalable condition and include a copy of the original receipt. If USED products are returned because they are claimed to be defective or damaged, IMTEK reserves the right to test them to verify the claims before issuing credit.

Returns made after more than 30 days from date of purchase will only be accepted at the sole discretion of IMTEK and may be subjected to a 35% restocking fee if they are accepted. Shipping charges are not refundable. Refunds or exchanges may not be possible without your invoice if we cannot track your order.
